Last month, 30 Cervus Equipment Peterbilt Regina employees rallied together to raise funds and support efforts to save the lives of infants in critical care.

This year marked the fourth annual Taco-in-a-Bag Fundraiser, an initiative to support the purchase of medical equipment required in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Regina General Hospital

For just $10, supporters could purchase a taco and a drink with all proceeds going to the hospital.

Everyone at Cervus Equipment Peterbilt Regina got involved in one way or another. Some called friends, family and surrounding businesses to get orders. Others helped with prep work, setup, assembly or delivery. Many showed support by donating and enjoying a delicious lunch.

With the dedication and effort of everyone at Cervus Equipment Peterbilt Regina, $5,000 was raised for the Regina General Hospital NICU.

Our dealership’s team efforts were part of Regina Z99 Radio’s 36-Hour Radiothon Fundraiser for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. For the Radiothon, Z99 morning hosts stayed awake for the entire 36 hours to broadcast the event and inspire as many donations as possible.

This year, with the help from the team at Cervus Equipment Peterbilt Regina and outpouring of donations from the local community, the Radiothon raised more than $722,000 to support this important cause.

Thanks to the generosity and support of the Regina community, the NICU can replace aged equipment with up-to-date technology to better care for infants in dire need.
